Films et arts martiaux

Après le post sur les mangas et les arts martiaux, voici une courte liste de bons films d'art martiaux (selon mes goûts, bien entendu), et non seulement de baston. J'ai mis pour la plupart les liens vers IMDB, je pense que vous êtes capables de les (re)trouver sur vos trackers préférés.

Pour le moment, vous trouverez ci-dessous des films concernant :

Je sais, on peut en rajouter encore beaucoup, et je le ferai au fur et à mesure, mais n'hésitez pas à m'envoyer un mail si vous avez des suggestions.

Je sais aussi qu'il manque au minimum un film de Jackie Chan, mais je ne me suis toujours pas décidé pour lequel.

KARATE

Kuro-obi (aka "Black Belt", 2007)

The events take place in 1932 in Japanese-occupied Manchuria, in which the corrupt leaders of the Japanese army are trying to take over all the Karate dojos for their own personal benefit. Amidst these circumstances the master of one of these dojos dies before passing on the Kuroobi to his successor, leaving three of his pupils the task of deciding amongst themselves who deserves it most. After they bury their master, they are forced to leave the dojo and join the Japanese army. At this point, their journey leads them on rather different paths both in life and in the understanding of their master's teachings of martial arts

Ame agaru (aka After the rain, Après la pluie - 1999)

During a downpour, a generous ronin and his supporting wife are stranded at a country inn. The ronin comes to the attention of a lord who wants to hire him as an instructor for his men, who treat the ronin with disrespect.

Shichinin no samurai (aka Seven Samurais, Les sept samouraïs - 1954)

A poor village under attack by bandits recruits seven unemployed samurai to help them defend themselves.

KUNG-FU

Huo yuanjia (aka Fearless, Le maître d'armes - 2006)

Martial arts legend Huo Yuanjia became the most famous fighter in all of China at the turn of the 20th Century. Huo faced personal tragedy but ultimately fought his way out of darkness and into history.
